We THINK that believing you’re strong, staying positive and having hope, all reflects on the thoughts you have. You choose to THINK all of those things. So what do you tell yourself? Can you achieve your goal of running a half marathon because you tell yourself you’re strong enough? Or are you telling yourself it’ll never happen because it requires too much effort? If you really want to cross a goal off your list then it’s up to you to take the initiative to do so. You either uplift yourself or discourage yourself. You either go after it or hold yourself back. Thoughts are conversations we have with ourselves on a daily basis. There’s never a moment where we’re not thinking. If you have negative thoughts, your interactions with people and attitudes towards situations will suffer. Think about it: constant negative thinking leads to negative views on the world, which then leads to poor conversations with people because you always find a way to disagree. Is that the way we want to be?
Success is dependent on thoughts, so don’t let yourself down. Everyone has a mixture of negative and positive thoughts, but the key is to not linger on the negative thoughts. By choosing to see each situation from an optimistic viewpoint, you will be able to fill your life with positive thoughts and positive feelings.
Recognize the challenges in the opportunities you have and use it as fuel to overcome them. THINK about how great it’ll feel to push past obstacles and turn them into something good. Something good that could become something great. Your greatest achievements didn’t happen from backing away, they happened because you took initiative in solving a problem.
